Yvonne Adele uses twitter to mobilise work force
Unlocking creative thinking skills to generate and implement unique ideas is Yvonne Adele’s business. Formerly known as the technology expert Ms Megabyte, Yvonne birthed Ideas Culture as a way of creating new ideas for business short on ideas.
Using twitter to recruit a virtual global workforce of ‘Ideas Agents’, Yvonne has demonstrated business can use twitter as a problem solving tool
In less than a week of tweeting random connections became an Ideas Agents workforce.
‘Ideas While You Sleep’ is an online service where companies submit a business challenge by 4.00pm. Yvonne then selects Ideas Agents from her global team chosen from 170+ who work on it overnight while the client sleeps.
By 10am the next morning clients receive in their inbox an ideas pack including 100+ that includes supporting evaluation and implementation template.
From the moment Yvonne sent out her first tweet seeking Ideas Agents, the initial 72 that registered overnight have grown to over 170 in eight countries world wide.
Agents come from all walks of life get paid for their ideas. From multi-national CEOs, entrepreneurs, professionals, comedians, students and retirees …all have been recruited via twitter.
“Creative ideas can give a company a real advantage over its competitors – especially during a downturn,” Yvonne said. “But with business owners under intensified pressure, fresh ideas can be hard to come by.”
Twitter might be in it’s early days, however case studies like this demonstrate any business can be just a tweet away from 100 potential solutions to their present business problem.

This is such a brilliant concept. Why didn’t I think of it first? Yvonne, you are very clever.
